SEACSM member benefits and how to join

Become a member of the Southeast ACSM Chapter

 

If you are a member of ACSM and the Southeast Chapter you already know how important these organizations are to your professional growth and development. 

Professional members have opportunities to share research, access first-rate educational meetings and programming, volunteer and serve with other like-minded professionals, and impact the next generation of sports medicine & exercise science students.

 Student members have opportunities to attend and present research at meetings, access funding through awards and grants, advance your education and professional training, and develop future career and educational opportunities. 

Student Membership

Cost

$15 per year (Must be enrolled in at least 1/2 full academic load).

To renew your chapter membership, please navigate to ACSM’s My Memberships page. You can renew your membership within 90 days of your expiration date.

All SEACSM Chapter memberships run for 12 months from the date of application, through the end of calendar month joined.

*SEACSM Chapter membership is unique to the regional chapter and separate from ACSM National membership. Chapter membership does not gain access to any National level benefits. 

Members are eligible for SEACSM Emeritus status if they: 

1) retire from an SEACSM institution as an SEACSM member, or 

2) are an ACSM emeritus member who relocates to the southeast region.
